A top Salesforce executive has defected to Meta as the competition for top AI talent ramps up.

Clara Shih, whose title was CEO of Salesforce AI, will take the role of head of business AI at the parent of Facebook and Instagram, she wrote in a post on X.

While better known for its consumer apps, Meta serves a wide audience of businesses who use it for advertising products or conducting customer service.
